Our Mission
At Project Identity, we are committed to transforming lives and uplifting our communities across California. After spending over four decades in the prison system, including 31 years in solitary confinement, I emerged from the darkest cages to finally see the light of day—just for the sun to hurt my eyes. I’ve witnessed the worst of the worst and have committed my share of wrongs, but I’m better now, and together, we can help others become better too.
My purpose is clear: to give back and inspire hope. We aim to change lives, derail the wrong trains, and guide individuals toward brighter futures. Our mission is to lift up those in need, empower our youth to rise above adversity, and create a safer, more supportive community for everyone.

We provide shelter and support for those in need, including men, women, and youth from troubled backgrounds. Our mission is to empower young people to rise above the pressures of gangs and violence, guiding them toward brighter futures filled with opportunity and promise. We also stand by battered and homeless women, offering them a safe haven and the resources to rebuild their lives.
Together, we are dedicated to speaking life into our youth, helping them navigate the difficult paths before them, and ensuring they avoid the pitfalls that can derail their futures. Through compassion, resilience, and community support, we strive to create a lasting impact, fostering a safer, more hopeful environment for everyone.
